Ok, so we are starting to see smaller companies cash in on the popularity of the returning juggernaut that is the Scream franchise and this upcoming flick sounds like it would fit right into The Asylum lineup, so Asylum guys are you checking this out, Crocaloctopus wants to know too!

Clearwater Productions is pleased to announce that it has tapped genre starlet Devanny Pinn, for the lead role in their upcoming feature length slasher, Scream 4 Your Life.

Pinn (Vivid, Manson Rising, Nude Nuns with Big Guns) will lead a cast of fresh faces and familiar genre talent in a blood bath out to prove that independent cinema can keep up with Hollywood's blockbusters. Directed by Eric Pereira (Piranha 3D) and penned by horror buff David Anders Jr, Scream 4 Your Life promises to uphold what hardcore horror fans are wanting to see while still delivering high production value and appeal for mainstream audiences.

Principal photography begins this March in Los Angeles with an anticipated early summer 2011 premiere.

Synopsis:

A genre actress who had quit show business because of an obsessive stalker a decade prior finds herself in a ruthless game of death with a serial killer who is imitating fan-favorite "kill scenes" from her most popular films. The stakes are risen when those closest to her become the pawns in these grisly re-enactments and she learns that her former stalker may not actually be the one behind these gruesome acts of horror movie-inspired excessiveness...
