Addition of Michael Hurley Furthers Expansion Efforts for Leading Social Gaming Developer

Beverly Hills, Calif – January 24, 2010 - Meteor Games, an innovative social gaming developer focused on creating richer, more engaging content, has named technology and interactive media recruiting veteran Michael Hurley to the newly created role of Senior Technical Recruiter. Following a year of tremendous growth in which the company doubled its staff to over 60 employees and expanded into 16,000 square feet of office space in Beverly Hills, Meteor Games is rapidly developing the next generation of immersive social games. Hurley will be charged with seeking out and securing the industry’s top talent.
Prior to joining Meteor Games, Hurley served as Senior Technical Recruiter for Disney Interactive Media Group. During his tenure, he played a key role in helping rebuild technology recruitment and client management within numerous DIMG divisions and personally hired 245 technology employees within three years.

Although the company’s most well known game is Island Paradise, launched last year with nearly 19 million player installs, Meteor has recently been in development on a series of next-stage social games. Meteor’s next game is currently in alpha testing and scheduled for release in February, with another new title following shortly thereafter.

Within three months of taking over as Division Director of IT Search with Robert Half International Inc, Hurley lead the division to a new all-time high with monthly revenue production increasing by 70% while also ranking as the number one IT search office on the West Coast.
