ZOMBIELAND scribes to pen MICRONAUTS for J.J. Abrams

Zombieland scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are set to help bring Hasbro's Micronauts to the big screen. Deadline reports that the duo will pen the feature film for JJ Abrams and Paramount Pictures. This is one the priority projects for the toyline during a third quarter earnings conference call for investors today by Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner. Paramount recently made a deal for the project to be produced by Bad Robot’s Abrams and Bryan Burk and Hasbro’s Goldner and Bennett Schneir.

Micronauts is the second big job for the writers, they recently wrote  G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation, and the X-Men spinoff film Deadpool for Fox. They are also adapting the graphic novel Cowboy Ninja Viking for Disney. They are a great choice for this film. What are your thoughts on this news?
