Nicholas Cage Cast in psycho-thriller BLACK BUTTERFLY

Movie Casting by Joey Paur

Nicolas Cage has been cast in a new psycho-thriller film called Black Butterfly, and German actress Veronica Ferres will join him in the film production. The film will be an adaptation of the French TV thriller Papillon Noir, and will have a budget of $13 million dollars which is a low-budget film compared to the other stuff Cage has been involved with.

I 've never seen or heard of this series before, but according to to THR "Cage will play the reclusive author Paul, who befriends a drifter, with fatal consequences." And that's why you never want to befriend a drifter, the chance of having fatal consequences is always higher.

Actor Brian Goodman will direct the film, this would be his second film, the first movie he directed was the 2008 Mark Ruffalo/Ethan Hawke film What Doesn’t Kill You. Production on the film will start in early 2012 in eastern Germany.
