Albert Finney joins JAMES BOND 23
I'm excited as hell to see what director Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition) has in store for us with James Bond 23. I'm really hoping he gives us a Bond film unlike any Bond film we've seen before. The guy has already managed to bring together and incredible cast of actors for the film that has been rumored to be titled SkyFall that includes Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Helen McCrory and Rory Kinnear.
As if this cast couldn't get any better, it's being reported that actor Albert Finney (Bourne movies, Big Fish) has also join the cast, and has a "a reasonably big role, as a higher-up at the British Foreign Office, and M (Judi Dench)‘s superior. So he'll be playing the big boss man.
This news about Finney's Bond casting comes from Baz Bamigboye, who says the casting was surprisingly revealed to the cast at a script reading. For those of you who don't already know Finney has been out of the spotlight because he's been battling cancer. It's great to hear that he's coming back to fill the big screen with his awesomeness.
I can't wait to see what story this movie is going to tell.
