Showtime and Netflix circle ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT limited series

Last night we reported that an Arrested Development movie was the closest it's been to a reality in years. The report also stated that a limited fourth season of the show was planned to help transition into the film. At the time a network had not been locked down for the new episodes to air. Deadline is reporting that Showtime and Netflix may be eyeying the series.

20th Century Fox TV (co-producer of the show with Imagine TV) has apparently begun talks with the two companies to make this a reality. Either one would be a good fit since Netflix has been looking for new original programming, and Showtime's new entertainment president David Nevins who was exec producer on the show for Imagine.

I sadly have never seen this show and plan on rectifying thsat situation when I can. The original three seasons are currently on Netflix Instant. What are your thoughts?
