TERRA NOVA claims top ratings spot of new dramas

Steven Spielberg's triumphant return to TV has been paying off. Terra Nova is not only a great show (in my opinion), but now has the ratings to back it up. Deadline reports that the Fox show has risen to number one among all new drama series premieres this season, before the second episode has even aired. The show got a nice 1.0 rating bump in Live+3, bringing its 18-49 rating to a 4.1. The show had a modest opening with a 3.1 Live+same day rating among adults 18-49, which was below expectations for the big-budget dinosaur drama. This rating is the largest L+3 gain for a new drama series. 

I am excited to see where this shows ratings continue to go. I loved the first episode. I was skeptical after seeing the first half of the pilot at Comic-Con. It felt odd just seeing the first portion, so I did not know what to make of the show. Having seen the full pilot, I am excited for what is to come. Check out our review of the show here. 

I was able to get my wife interested in the show which is a big sucess for someone that does not like sci-fi. I have heard a number of people talk about how they either love or hate this show. I am interested in hearing from our readers on whether you think this show willl be a success and why!
