Jon Favreau to get TWEAKED for new half-hour comedy at CBS?

Jon Favreau may be coming to the small screen with a spec script at CBS. Deadline repots that the Iron Man director is in negotiations for a half-hour comedy called Tweaked. Favreau penned the script and is set to direct and executive produce the project. The show will reportedly receive a pilot order from CBS and get laid off at sibling CBS TV Studios.

The story follows the "life and dating among single parents in Santa Monica." Tweaked will be Favreau's first time writing a TV series. He previously directed and executive produced the pilot for ABC’s comedy In Case Of Emergency. Favreau also created, executive produced and hosted the IFC talk show Dinner For Five.He is currently working on the script and is attached to direct the 2013 Disney tentpole Magic Kingdom

Favreau is not the only film director taking a stab at TV. It was recently reported that the Coen Bros. were working on a new hour-long comedy. What are your thoughts on this news?
