THE AVENGERS coming to Entertainment Tonight on Monday

This means that fans will have to see two talking heads babble on and on over footage of Marvel's The Avengers, but it is better than nothing, Superherohype reports that the video is from when Entertainment Tonight visited the set, and you can seen a preview below. As we reported, on Tuesday fans will be treated to the first trailer for the Joss Whedon directed film that arrives on May 4, 2012.  

Plot Summary:

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel's The Avengers is the superhero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

The cast of this epic film includes,  Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L. Jackson.
