Jason Clarke cast in Kathryn Bigelow's Bin Laden movie - Elite actors sought

Jason Clarke has been cast in the Kathryn Bigelow-directed drama about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Deadline reports that Clarke is the first actor thats been cast in the project for Sony Pictures and Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures. Clarke will play "a terrorist hunter in service of the U.S. efforts to hunt Bin Laden."

It is also being reported that an "elite group of actors is being courted for the ensemble." Tom Hardy, Jennifer Ehle (Contagion), Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Rooney Mara and Nina Arianda (Midnight In Paris) make up the list of actors being discussed. Filming is slated to begin early next year, which means that a number of the actors may not be able to star because of prior commitments.

Clarke stars in The Wettest County in the World and will be seen in Baz Luhrmann's Great Gatsby as the gas station owner George Wilson. I liked him in Public Enemies and Death Race. This is a higher profile film, which will be great for his career.

What are your thoughts? Who would you like to see in the film?
