TWILIGHT fans already lining up for BREAKING DAWN LA Premiere
Twilight fans are already lining up for Monday's Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. This reminds me of the lines for the Twilight Comic-Con panel in San Diego last year. The photo above shows the 300 - 700+ fans waiting to be assigned their ”camping spot” at the off-chance they will catch a glimpse of their favorite star.
Online ticket-sellers are already pulling in record numbers. MovieTickets.com currently has sold out 1,344 performances for the November 18th debut. The film currently makes up 72% of Fandango’s weekly ticket sales. Fandango has already sold out 1,000 showtimes in advance, leaving theater owners rushing to offer more screenings. Based on a survey done by Fandango, 48% of Breaking Dawn Part 1 ticket-buyers plan to see the pic on opening night.
I know many of you think this is cray, but I have to say I am impressed. Camping outside on the pavement/grass is not fun unless you have a tent or an air mattress. There has to be something said for the energy and the excitement that those fans must feel at this moment.
What are your thoughts?
