Here's an interesting story that will be getting a big screen adaptation from Summit Entertainment. The book that the film will be based on is called Deadmail, and it was written by Laurie Frankel.
Deadmail is a love story about a computer whiz who invents a program where people can e-mail loved who have died. Yes, emails sent to the dead. The a inventor ends up unexpectedly losing the woman he loves so he must face his own e-mail creation to keep her close or lose her forever.
The book wont be published until next year, which gives the studio time to get a script written and get the film into production before the book even comes out. Twilight Saga producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill will produce the feature.
This is a very interesting concept that could make for a good movie. I'm just surprised Apple doesn't have an app for it yet. What are your thoughts on the films concept?
