The Movie Title Design of Saul Bass
Saul Bass is a legendary movie poster illustrator and filmmaker who worked on several films over the years many of which were with director Alfred Hitchcock. I've always loved Bass's style, and if you've never seen his stuff before then this video is a nice little introduction to his greatness.
The video below was created to celebrate the release of the book Saul Bass: A Life in Film & Design. Ian Albinson made the video, and it gives us a brief visual history of some of Bass's most celebrated work. Enjoy!
