Sami Raimi to Produce Adaptation of BZRK

Sam Raimi will produce a new sci-fi film project based on a book series called BZRK written by Michael Grant and it's the first in a planned trilogy. Sony Pictures picked up the the rights to the unpublished novel for Raimi's Star Road.

The novel won't be published until next year, but according to Deadline the story is "a youth oriented tale with an ambitious premise. A team of gifted teens control biological nanobot robots warriors and they battle another group that is controlled by conjoined twins whose nanobots are brainwashing world leaders. The megalomaniacal twins are trying to take over the world."

Sounds like a it could make for a really fun movie, and I'm looking forward to see the team brought on to develop and how they story plays out. What are your thoughts on this premise of this story?
