CONAN THE BARBARIAN - Jason Momoa Audition Footage

So why was Jason Momoa cast as Conan in the latest movie? In all honesty, I think it was his casting that played a big role in the failure of the film. That, and of course the script sucked. I was never sold on this actor as Conan, and after watch this audition footage, I still can't understand why they ultimately cast him because these looked like terrible auditions! There must have been better performances than this! This video basically proves that Momoa was the wrong choice even though they are say it was the right one.
