Steven Soderbergh to direct THE BITTER PILL

Steven Soderbergh has already found his next project after dropping out as director of Man from U.N.C.L.E. last week. THR reports that Soderbergh is set to reteam with Scott Z Burns (he penned the U.N.C.L.E. script) for The Bitter Pill. The project is currently being sent out to various studios for bids.

The project is being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura along with Soberbergh’s longtime producing partner Gregory Jacobs. Contagion and The Informant! was directed, produced and writen by Soderbergh, Jacobs and Burns respectively. Details are being kept under wrapos ont his project that is described as “a thriller set in the world of psychopharmacology.”

I am always interested in seeing any film that Soderbergh direct. Haywire is his next film to debut in January. What are your thoughts on this news?
