LOST'S Emilie de Ravin joins ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME

LOST's Emilie de Ravin has joined the cast of ABC's Once Upon a Time, according to TV Guide. She is set to play Belle, "the fairytale heroine of "Beauty and the Beast" beginning in episode 12, airing early next year." Not much is currently known about Belle's role in the show, but it is reported that her character "will be connected to Robert Carlyle's Rumplestiltskin and that, while there is no confirmation of the Beast himself, the Disney-created character of Gaston is planned to be featured as well." Confirmation or casting news for Gaston has not been announced at this time. 

Once Upon A Time was created by LOST scribes Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The show premiered last month and tells the "story of fairytale characters living in secret in the modern world." I have yet to watch the show, but have heard some good reviews. De Ravin is a good actress, so I am sure she will be a great addition to the cast.
