I, FRANKENSTEIN to shoot in Victoria

Stuart Beattie's I, Frankenstein is headed to Victoria, Australia, according to Encore Magazine. The $37 million production will use a local Australian cast and crew.

The film is based on the comic by Kevin Grevioux and "tells the modern-day tale of Dr. Frankenstein's creature, Adam, who nearly centuries after his "birth", has found himself in a gothic city, caught up in a war between two immortal clans." Aaron Eckhart is in the lead and recently revealed that Mary Shelley's original novel is where he's currently focusing his attention to build the character.

Filming is slated to start in January to meet it's scheduled release date of February 22, 2013.
