Sony releasing THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO early!
Sony is opening The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo early! THR reports that fans will be able to see the David Fincher adaptation in theaters at 7 p.m. on Dec. 20, one night earlier than it was scheduled to open. Based on Stieg Larsson's blockbuster novel, the movie stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara and Christopher Plummer among others.

We feel that by opening for nighttime shows on December 20th, fans of the book will be given the perfect opportunity to get jump start on the release of the exceptional film."
Every little bit can make a big difference, since the final two weeks of the year can is big business for movies even during mid-week. I for one plan on seeing it that night or the next day before travelling to Florida for the holidays.
