But above all, a child-like surrender in the act of watching, both theirs and ours. It's as if their total submission to what they are seeing mirrors our own.

Spielberg is one of my favorite film directors, and it always amazing me to see the performances that he can pull out of the actors he works with. We've all seen a Spielberg movie, so we all know how he uses the face to drive a point home to the audience, and make the audience feel a certain way. It helps us connect to these character.
