As many of you already know, the 6 minute prologue to The Dark Knight Rises is now playing at select IMAX theatres across the US and Canada in front of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

I won't spoil it for you, but I'll give a few tidbits away.

We are officially introduced to Bane, whom even the CIA is scared of. His folowers are devoted and literally willing to die for him.
There's an amazing mid-air hijacking that has to be seen to be believed.
After that we get glimpses of Batman playing with his new toys, Anne Hathaway in full Catwoman gear (still not a fan), Bane in a pimp-tastic fur-collared trenchcoat, and the battle for Gotham.
The ending shows Bane carrying a piece of memorabilia that you've seen in the newest poster for the movie.

In short, the prologue only scratches the surface of how epic the scope of Chris Nolan's third and final Batman film will be. It seems to me that Nolan just might accomplish what no comic franchise has yet done: make the perfect movie trilogy! Can it be July 2012?
