First Movie Posters Revealed for MIRROR MIRROR
Unfortunately the Tarsem Singh directed Snow White film Mirror Mirror looks like crap. At least that's my opinion, maybe there are some of you out there that actually think the movie looks good, but for me it just comes off as being rushed and cheap. I've seen better fantasy films on the SyFy channel. If you haven't seen the trailer for the movie yet, check it out below so you can decide for yourself.
Relativity Media has released these first two posters for the film that really don't do anything for me. There is nothing cool about them. They were basically created to sell the fact that Julia Roberts is the film's star, but I'm not sure how much star power Roberts even has anymore these days. I've always liked watching Roberts in her films, but it seems like her star is beginning to fade as well. This film just doesn't look good, and I don't think it's going to help her acting career.
The movie stars Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as an exiled princess who enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright and Oscar-winner Julia Roberts as an evil Queen who steals control of a kingdom, in a magical adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. The film also stars Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane (The Birdcage) as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.
Rounding out the cast are Robert Emms, Mare Winningham, Michael Lerner, Mark Povinelli, Jordan Prentice, Danny Woodburn, Sebastian Saraceno, Ronald Lee Clark, Martin Klebba, Joey Gnoffo, and Sean Bean.
The film is set to hit theaters on March 16th 2012.
