Dan Aykroyd Cast in DOG FIGHT

Dan Aykroyd is the latest actor to join the cast of the political comedy Dog Fight. According to Moviehole Aykroyd is set to join Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, who star as “two rival politicians running for a congressional seat in a small North Carolina district election.”

The film is being directed by Jay Roach (Austin Powers, Meet the Fockers) based on a script by Chris Henchy and Shawn Harwell. The film also stars John Lithgow, Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott, Sarah Baker, and Katherine LaNasa. 

I think that Aykroyd will make a great addition to the cast. Although it's been awhile since I've seen him in a movie I actually liked. In recent years the main thing he's been talking about is this Ghostbusters 3 film that seems like it will never happen. What are your thoughts?
