SAW 8 Basically Confirmed by Lionsgate

Movie LionsgateSaw by Joey Paur

Remember when Lionsgate said that Saw 3D would be the last Saw film? I think we all knew that they wouldn't be able stop. Liongate Vice Chairman Michael Burns recently spoke with CNBC and confirmed that we will eventually see an eighth Saw film saying, "I'm sure, some day, you'll see Saw back in the picture." How much longer can Jigsaw keep this up from beyond the grave?

I'm not the biggest fan of the Saw franchise, I liked the first film, but it went all downhill after that and I have no interest in seeing a new Saw film. I don't think I've even seen the last three or four of them. I guess there's still a market out there for it, and Lionsgate doesn't have many franchises. The only one they have going for them right now is The Hunger Games. Bringing back Saw franchise would guarantee money in the bank.

What do you all think about seeing a Saw part 8? Is this exciting news for you? Or are you annoyed with the franchise as much as I am?
