Tom Cruise ready to Rock Out in ROCK OF THE AGES
It looks like Tom Cruise will be officially joining the cast of New Line's adaptation of the hit stage musical about 1980s rockers called Rock of the Ages. That actor has been circling the role since last year, and now everything seems to have fallen into place.
Cruise will play Stacee Jaxx, the arrogant and charming star at the top of his career. Jaxx sings Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead of Alive" in the theater production. So prepare to see Cruise rock out in the film.
Actors Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand are also looking at taking on a couple big roles in the film, but nothing is official yet. The film is being directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray) from a script by Chris D'Arienzo.
Regardless of how you feel about Tom Cruise, this should be an entertaining roll to see him in. What do you you all think?
