COGAN'S TRADE gains a SOPRANO

Vincent Curatola (mob boss Johnny Sack on The Sopranos) has joined the upcoming crime thriller Cogan’s Trade. He'll star alongside Brad PittJames GandolfiniSam RockwellCasey Affleck and Mark Ruffalo.

Curatola will star as a middle-aged man recently released from jail who seeks revenge on those who sent him to prison. The film begins shooting in New Orleans later this month and is being produced by The Weinstein Co. and Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.

Andrew Dominick will direct the film which is based on the 1974 George V. Higgins novel of the same name. Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan, a hard-boiled enforcer in gangland Boston. The movie is scheduled for an early 2012 theatrical release.

I loved his character on The Sopranos and think he'll be perfect in the role. This is really going to be a great cast and I can't wait to see the film. It will be great to see Curatola and Gandolfini on screen again.
