Felicia Day launching new web series DRAGON AGE: REDEMPTION
Felicia Day, creator of The Guild, has plans to launch a new web series called Dragon Age: Redemption. The six-part series is inspired by the BioWare game Dragon Age and will have its premiere this summer after the release of the game sequel Dragon Age II.
Here is what Day had to say about the project:
“I’m a huge Dragon Age fan, and I have been looking for a follow up project to The Guild for quite some time. I was thrilled when the opportunity to work with BioWare materialized. Dragon Age: Redemption allows me to tell a fantasy story in a new way, using a universe I really love.”
Day will play the role of an Elvish assassin who forms an uneasy alliance with others to capture a dangerous rogue mage. The trailer for the series will be presented on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
BioWare is set to launch the Dragon Age II demo Feb. 22 on Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and PC, followed by the game's official release to stores March 8.
