ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT's Mitchell Hurwitz developing BOSS OF IT ALL for Universal

Mitchell Hurwitz, creator of Arrested Development, and Imagine Entertainment are currently working on a remake of Lars von Trier's Norwegian comedy Direktoren For Det Hele at Universal. 

The film is called The Boss of It All and it focuses on "the owner of a small IT company who pretends there's another boss above him in order to more easily break bad news to his employees. When he sells the company and the new owner wants to meet said boss, he has to hire a failed actor to play him ... with wacky results."

The Wrap reports that the project has been in development for about a year, with the producers still waiting to get a script outline together.

Hurwitz plans to direct, with Imagine's Brian Grazer and Ron Howard executive producing. Emma Forrest is attached to write the screenplay.

I wish we had news on an Arrested Development movie, but this does sound like a funny concept. What are your thoughts on this news?
