Jimmi Simpson Cast in ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER
Jimmi Simpson has been cast as Abraham Linclon's right hand man, personal assisstant, and close friend Josh Speed in Timur Bekmatebov's adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Simpson has been in films such as Zodiac, Stay Alive and Joe Lynch's upcoming film Knights of Badassdom. He joins a great cast of actors that includes Ben Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie and Mary Elisabeth Winstead.
The story focuses on the president who after having his mother murdered by monsters, is on a quest to rid the world of the evil vampires. The plan is to shoot the filmt in 3D with production set to start in March. Fox set a release date for June 22nd 2012.

Indiana, 1818. Moonlight falls through the dense woods that surround a one-room cabin, where a nine-year-old Abraham Lincoln kneels at his suffering mother's bedside. She's been stricken with something the old-timers call "Milk Sickness."
"My baby boy..." she whispers before dying.
Only later will the grieving Abe learn that his mother's fatal affliction was actually the work of a vampire.
