IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MOVIEWATCHER

You may have received a communication that MovieWatcher Rewards is going away. Below you'll find frequently asked questions about what is happening.

Why is MovieWatcher going away?
MovieWatcher was a valuable program that was innovative for its time. However, as many loyalty programs have evolved, our guests have been asking for a more rewarding program. Our new loyalty program will be a more robust program and we’re looking forward to sharing more information.

When and how will MovieWatchers be notified that the program is ending?
Members will receive notification that MovieWatcher is ending approximately 45 days prior to the launch of our new rewards program. Members can be notified in several ways: in-theatre handouts, direct mail, and/or e-mail. Be sure to check your email and mailbox for more information.

Can I still use my MovieWatcher coupons?
Yes, we will accept MovieWatcher coupons up to 90 days after our new program begins. Just present any of your existing rewards the next time you’re at an AMC Theatre.

What will happen to my online accounts?
You’ll be able to access your MovieWatcher online account until your favorite AMC theatre offers our new program. For now, you can log in to your MovieWatcher account at amctheatres.com and check your point balance and participate in the online community.

What will happen to my points?
The rewards program we offer in 2011 is a completely new program and your MovieWatcher points won’t transfer to our new loyalty program. Don’t worry, everyone who enrolls in the program will receive more benefits and more rewards. We’re confident you’ll love our new program more than you love MovieWatcher.

Can I sign up to become a MovieWatcher?
At this time AMC Theatres is no longer signing up new MovieWatcher members. We will send you more information when it’s available.
