RISE OF THE APES Gets a New Release Date

Here's a quick little poster to let you know that 20th Century Fox has moved the release date of Rise of the Apes to August 5th 2011, which is sooner than expected.
The film is set to be directed by Rupert Wyatt, and will serve as a prequel to the Planet of the Apes series. James Franco is set to play a scientist working on a cure for Alzheimer's by testing on apes. When test subject Caesar suddenly begins to mutate rapidly, the scientist takes him home to remove him from the cruel lab doctors.
The film also stars Tom Felton, Freida Pinto, Brian Cox, Andy Serkis, John Lithgow and several others.
