SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL Shooting Location, Budget & Code Name
It was just announced that Amy Adams will be taking on the role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's unpcoming Superman reboot, which I think is a surprising but great choice. I don't think I would have ever thought of her as a Lois Lane, but I like it. She's a much better choice than Kate Bosworth was.
We have another little update on Superman: The Man of Steel for you. This news isn't as exciting as the Lois Lane casting, but it it talks about the shooting location, code name and budget.
The film is scheduled to start shooting in Chicago in August, and will shoot for two or three months with production centered in suburban Plano as the semi-rural setting of Smallville, and will shoot under the code name "Autumn Frost". The plan is to shoot the outside scenes in Chicago, and the inside scenes in Vancouver, Britsh Columbia.
It's also been reported that the film has a budget of $175 million dollars, which is more than enough money to make a great Superman movie that will star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman in the movie, Diane Lane as Martha "Ma" Kent, and Kevin Costern is taking on the role Jonathan "Pa" Kent.
