Trailer for SCARFACE blu-ray from Universal

Scarface has received the Blu-ray treatment from Universal Studios Home Entertainment will make it's debut in stores on September 6. The disc will feature many of the same extras housed on the DVD. There will also be some cool new features, including a documentary on its effect on filmmakers and culture. There will also be a picture-in-picture feature as well as a scorecard feature, allowing you to keep track the number of F-words said and bullets fired.

Scarface comes in a regular Blu-ray edition, a limited edition that comes with a digital copy of the movie plus the original 1932 black and white classic, and an ultra limited edition (1000) that comes with a hand-painted humidor for $999.99.

Universal is also holding a contest, asking fans to create Scarface-inspired work using images from the film. They will select the top 25 and then ask fans to vote on their top 10. Those 10 works will be made into art cards for the limited edition Blu-ray and the winner’s art will be run as a billboard in a major city.

Here is the trailer for the Blu-ray, check it out and share your thoughts!
