Milo Ventimglia to Star in new 3D Micro Budget Thriller STATIC

Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia and The Last House on the Left's Sara Paxton have been cast in a new 3D thriller called Static. They will join Sarah Shahi (The L Word) in the film that will be the first feature film of music video director Todd Levin.

This film has been given an extremely low budget for a 3D with below $1 million dollars. It will be shot using a camera rig designed specifically for the producers and director to hold two Sony PMW-F3 cameras, which is Sony's answer to the RED 3D camera. Good luck with that Sony. 

The follows a young couple on the verge of divorce after losing their child. Their world changes when a young visitor arrives, bringing supernatural implications to the household. Ventimglia and Shahi will play the couple in the movie. 

With such an incredibly low micro-budget for a 3D film, I'm interested in finding out how it turns out.
