Dan Scanlon set to direct MONSTERS UNIVERSITY

Dan Scanlon has been confirmed as the director of Disney Pixar's Monsters, Inc. prequel Monsters University. Kori Rae is producing the film. Scanlon has worked as a story artist on Cars and Toy Story 3 and directed the Cars-related short, "Mater and the Ghostlight." Rae produced "Mater's Tall Tales" and Up.

John Goodman and Billy Crystal will return as the voices of Sulley and Mike. The film will show how they first met at Monsters University and despite their differences became good friends. 

Walt Disney Pictures will release the film on November 2, 2012.
