Jim Caviezel joins PERSON OF INTEREST from Abrams and Nolan

Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ) has signed on to star in CBS's Person of Interest pilot. The show will be Caviezel's first series role and is being written/exec produced by Jonah Nolan and executive produced by J.J. Abrams.

The series centers on "ex-CIA agent Reese (Caviezel), presumed dead, who teams up with reclusive billionaire Finch (Michael Emerson) to prevent violent crimes in New York City."
