Neil Blomkamp's ELSYIUM gets an official release date

Neil Blomkamp's Elsyium has the Easter weekend all to itself, it is set for an official release on March 8, 2013. Earlier we reported that the highly-anticipated sci-fi film had cast it's villain in Wagner Mourra.

Not much is known about the Media Rights Capital production which stars Matt Damon, Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster and Moura. All that is known about film is that it's set in a future world where social class plays an integral part and that Damon's character is an ex-con.

This is a great time for the film to be released, you can expect it to likely dominate the box office. I am very excited to see what comes of this film.
