New Movie Trailer for THE DEBT with Sam Worthington

Focus Features has released a new movie trailer for their upcoming thriller The Debt, which has a great cast of actors that includes Sam Worthington, Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, Marton Csokas, Jessica Chastain, and Ciaran Hinds. This is the second trailer I've seen for the film. The first one was released in July of last year. The movie was supposed to be released in fall of last year, but got moved back to this summer.

John Madden (Shakespeare in Love, Proof) directed the film which is a remake of a 2007 Israeli film. I've never seen the original film, but this looks like it could be a solid movie. I don't think I would pay to watch it in theaters though. With the price of ticket prices these day, I have to be picky about what I want movies to spend my money on.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

In this espionage thriller, shocking news reaches retired Mossad secret agents Rachel (Academy Award winner Helen Mirren) and Stefan (two-time Academy Award nominee Tom Wilkinson) about their former colleague David (Ciarán Hinds). Back in 1966, the trio (portrayed, respectively, by Jessica Chastain, Marton Csokas, and Sam Worthington [“Avatar,” “Clash of the Titans”]) tracked down Nazi war criminal Vogel (Jesper Christensen) in East Berlin. At great risk, and at considerable personal cost, the team’s mission was accomplished – or was it? The suspense builds in and across two different time periods, with startling action and surprising revelations.

The movie hits theaters on August 31st 2011. Watch the second trailer for the film below and tell us if this is something you'll go out and see.
