Bruce Campbell says the EVIL DEAD Remake is Going to be "Kickass"

When I first heard Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell were going to remake the horror classic Evil Dead my heart sunk. This is one of my all time favorite horror movies, and it's something I didn't want to ever see get remade. I know many of you feel the same way, and maybe some of these words from Bruce Campbell will comfort you in the fact that it's eventually going to happen. 

The last we heard they were going to look at a script for them film, Campbell reveals that he's read the script and that he loves it. 

We are remaking Evil Dead. The script is awesome. I will be one of the producers and possibly play the milk man.

Of course he wont play the milk man, but I think it's safe to say that he also wont be returning as Ashley J. Williams either. Campbell continued saying,

In all honesty, we would all love to make another 'Evil Dead' movie. When that will happen? Who can say - we're all working on other jobs right now. We're not trying to dodge anybody's questions, there just isn't that much to talk about. The remake's gonna kick ass—you have my word.

So the script is "awesome" and the movie will be "kickass". Those are some encouraging words from the man that helped build the Evil Daed franchise.
