We reported on the Dead Island game back in February and now it looks like the publisher, Deep Silver have plans for a sequel and it's coming soon! Dead Island has layed the foundation for Dead Island 2 which is being described as a far more ambitious game and is set for a 2012 release.

there's no detailes yet but the game is already in the works and will continue the story. Are you ready for even more zombies on Dead Island?
