Gary Busey joins cast of PIRANHA 3DD

GaryBusey has been cast inPiranha 3DD. Busey was recently fired by Donald Trumpon The Celebrity Apprentice. The film is being directed by John Gulager and is now filming in Wilmington, NC. Busey transformed himself into Buddy Holly in 1978's The Buddy Holly Story. I loved him in Point Break and Silver Bullet and think he'll be a perfect fit for the film. If you have not seen Busey as Buddy Holly you're missing out. 

The rest of the cast was announced this week, and includes Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, DavidKoechner, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez and Clu Gulager.

There’s something in the water . . . again. And this time no one is safe from the flesh eating fish as they sink their razor sharp teeth into the visitors of the best summer attraction, The Big Wet Water Park.

Piranha 3DD swims into theaters on November 23, 2011. I am excited for this film. It is not great cinema by any means, but it is a lot of fun. Are you as excited to see this film/Busey as I am?
