First photos of STRAW DOGS starring James Marsden, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard

Here are the first images for Screen Gems remake of Straw Dogs directed by Rod Lurie from Entertainment Weekly. The film stars James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgard, James Woods, Dominic Purcell and Willa Holland. The remake swaps the UK for the US, but keeps the basic story the same. The film follows "screenwriter David Sumner (Marsden), who moves with his wife to her hometown in the deep South. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, leading to a violent confrontation."

Straw Dogs is set for release in theaters September 16. If you have not seen the original film, I highly recommend it. Dustin Hoffman is great in the role that Marsden plays. Check out the images and share your thoughts!
