RJ Cutler directing FABULOUS NOBODIES

RJ Cutler is set to direct Fabulous Nobodies, adaptation of the book by Lee Tulloch. Cutler is the documentarian director of The September Issue and producer of The War Room. Nobodies will be his first scripted film, and he'll oversee screenwriters Mark Fortin and Josh Miller. Julie Anne Quay, the former V Magazine exec editor, Gail Lyon (Erin Brockovich) and Cutler are serving as producers. According to Deadline, the film is "social satire set in the 1980s downtown club scene of New York, where a group of people lived and breathed fashion before it took over the world." 

This does not sound too interesting to me at all, what are your thoughts?
