Remedy Confirms More ALAN WAKE on the Way

Several geek news sites, including us, mentioned yesterday that a reference to Alan Wake 2 popped up on an artist’s LinkedIn profile. The reference was quickly expunged from the profile, but apparently it wasn’t pulled fast enough.

Remedy, Alan Wake’s developer, sent a statement to Joystiq.com to explain (sort of) what was going on with the franchise. Here’s an excerpt: "Fans of the franchise will be excited to learn that, yes, more Wake is coming! …this next Wake installment will not be Alan Wake 2. But neither will it be DLC."

He promises that whatever the game is will “give more” to pre-existing Alan Wake fans and be a good jumping on point for those who’ve yet to try out the first game.
