First Film Clip for J.J. Abrams' SUPER 8

Paramount Pictures has released the first film clip for J.J. Abrams' upcoming Steven Spielberg produced and inspired 1970's retro sci-fi film Super 8. The clip is an extended sequence of the train crash scene from the trailer.

As excited as I am for the 2011 summer films such as Captain America, Cowboys & Aliens, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, I'm mostly excited for Super 8. It just looks like it's going to be an all around awesomely made film with a great story that I really know nothing about. I already know what to expect from most of the other summer films, but this is an original idea that will be a complete surprise for me.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

Check out the film clip below and tell us what you think! The movie is set to be released on June 10th!
