Lights Out actor Billy Brown has joined the cast of Dexter season 6 in a key role. He will play a character named Mike Cutler, described as a no-nonsense Chicago homicide detective who transfers to Miami Metro, where he immediately ruffles some feathers.
He will join the recently cast Edward James Olmos, rapper/actor Mos Def and Colin Hanks. Production on Dexter begins May 25th in Los Angeles and will premiere on Showtime this fall. As far as actors go, this looks like it's shaping up to be a great season.
Dexter stars Michael C. Hall as a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. The show also stars Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas, and James Remar.
