Jon Hamm will Direct MAD MEN Season 5 Premiere

Mad Men star Jon Hamm will make his directorial debut on the highly anticipated fifth season of AMC’s hit series Mad Men. He has signed on to direct the season 5 premiere. 

Hamm will be the second actor on the show to go behind the camera. Actor John Slattery directed episodes 4 and 12 from Mad Men season 4. 

Season 5 will premiere next March, so it's going to be awhile. Series creator Matthew Weiner made a deal in March in which he will be the showrunner for Seasons 5 and 6 with an option for a seventh.
