Susan Sarandon is close to a deal to play a sexy teacher and mother of Andy Samberg's character in Columbia's I Hate You, Dad. Adam Sandler plays the other lead in the film that also stars, Leighton Meester as Samberg's fiancée, Ian Ziering as a drug/alcohol addicted version of himself and Vanilla Ice as himself.
The studio is also in talks with James Caan, Will Forte and Milo Ventimiglia, as well as Sarandon's real-life daughter Eva Amurri (Californication), Blake Clark, Meagan Fay (Party Down), Tony Orlando and Dan Patrick to join the cast. Filming is scheduled to being in Boston this summer by directors Sean Anders and John Morris. The story centers on "a father (Sandler) who moves in on the eve of the wedding of his son (Samberg) and promptly begins feuding with the bride-to-be."
Sarandon is perfect for this role, she has made a career out of playing seductive characters. She was last seen in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and is slated to appear in Cloud Atlas being directed by the Wachowskis.
