Jonah Hill may re-team with Mark and Jay Duplass for a dramatic thriller titled Pitchfork. Hill starred last year in Cyrus opposite John C. Reilly and Marisa Tomei. The LA Times reports that the writer-directors ha a new script they are shopping around Hollywood currently.

Pitchfork is about "a middle-aged mother of an indie rocker who, after her son is killed in a car accident, seeks vengeance on an online blogger who had peddled snark about her son (on the music site Pitchfork, hence one of the title's entendres). Things take a turn, though, when she finds out the snarker is just a teenager."It's reported that Susan Sarandon is being sought for the role of the mother. with Hill up for the role of the blogger. Mark Duplass starred in Humpday in 2009, but it's not known if he'll star in this upcoming project.

Cyrus featured an odd releationship between a mother and son and so does their upcoming comedy starring Jason Segel and Ed Helms called Jeff Who Lives at Home. That film is being produced by Jason Reitman and arrives in theaters later this year. I really enjoyed Cyrus because of the characters and I am sure I will like these two upcoming projects.
