Josh Stewart joins cast of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Josh Stewart (The Collector) has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. As you can expect, Stewart's role is being kept quiet. He is one of the many newcomers to the franchise that include, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff and Burn Gorman. The film is currently in production and slated for release on July 20, 2012 from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.

Stewart has starred in such films as David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but is best known for his TV roles. He has starred on such series as NBC's Third Watch, Dirt and most recently, on ABC's No Ordinary Family. He is currently filming, The Collection, a sequel to The Collector. He recently finished a feature adaptation of the '60s TV series The Big Valley.

Don't get me wrong I am excited to see this film, but this cast is getting a little out of hand. It seems like there are a ton of characters that it will be interesting to see who Stewart ends up playing. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
